Lindaluz Carbajal, Massage Therapist

Lindaluz Carbajal is a trauma-informed Massage Therapist who completed her CMT hours through Kali Institute for Massage and Somatic Therapies in Ventura.

Lindaluz has 5+ years of experience working in the field of psychology in Ventura County and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. She is committed to daily meditation as a personal healing and transformative practice and finds that it enhances her work as a Massage Therapist.

Lindaluz decided to obtain her Massage Certificate after experiencing the mental, physical, and spiritual benefits of massage firsthand. Lindaluz believes that massage is another means of accessing the intrinsic healing potential of each individual. Through the physical unwinding of the body and the settling of the breath, an individual can experience a more profound state of relaxation and restorative inner silence, which Lindaluz believes is a closer attunement to our true nature: the Soul.

Lindaluz currently resides in Oxnard, and practices primarily as an outcall CMT service provider. Lindaluz’s focus as a CMT is to provide services that support an individual’s wellness journey in their return to wholeness.

Services

Swedish Massage ($85/hour and $125/ 90min)

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of Western Massage. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility. It can be a full body experience or targeted application. Client is generally unclothed and draped with sheets and/or towels. (Can include Lymphatic and Reflexology components)

Sports Massage ($85/hour and $125/ 90min)

Sports Massage is a type of Western Massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body’s natural immune function. It can be a full body experience or targeted application. The client is generally unclothed and draped with sheets and/or towels, and oil or cream is used.

Pregnancy Massage ($85/hour and $125/ 90min)

Pregnancy Massage is a style of Western Massage designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman’s body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation. It can be a full body experience or targeted application. Client is generally unclothes and draped with sheets and/or towels. Cream or oil is used. (Can include Lymphatic and Reflexology components).

Trigger Point Therapy ($85/hour and $125/ 90min)

Trigger Point Therapy is a style of Western Massage that focuses on stimulating and releasing “trigger points” in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These “knots” are built up throughout a person’s life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative. It can be a full body experience or targeted application. Client is generally unclothed and draped with sheets and/or towels. Little to no cream/oil is used.

Geriatric Massage ($85/hour and $125/ 90min)

Geriatric massage is a form of Western Massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly. It helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and also increase range of motion. If you are elderly, geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging. In addition, since the elderly don’t typically receive enough physical touch, this massage can also help alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression.

Neuro-Structural Bodywork ($85/hour and $125/ 90min)

A type of intuitive deep tissue and myofascial release that targets the root cause of discomfort and imbalances, helping to alleviate chronic pain, improve posture, and restore the body’s natural alignment. The client is generally undressed and draped with sheets and/or towels, and little to no cream or oil is used. (Can include components of Cranio-Sacral Therapy).

Thai Massage ($85/hour and $125/ 90min)

Thai massage is a type of Eastern Massage that is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. It does not use the general technique of stroking and kneading, but instead uses stretching, gentle twisting, asanas (body posture), compression, and palming to channel the inherent energy of an individual to bring about integration of mind and body. The client is fully clothed and cream or oil are traditionally not used. (Can include Hakomi Somatic therapy components)

Hot Stone Therapy ($145/ 90 min)

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.

Massage with Fire Cupping ($145/ 90 min)

Unlock the healing potential of fire cupping, an ancient therapy that uses gentle suction to stimulate circulation, release toxins, and promote healing. The cup can either be left stationary or glided across the surface of your skin in order to break up fascial (connective tissue) adhesions, relieve hypertonicity, and bring blood to the body’s surface to support in the metabolizing of toxins.

Massage with Hot Towels ($145/ 90 min)

Hot towels can be used throughout the massage session to support the nervous system by encouraging relaxation, promoting circulation, reducing nasal congestion, and soothing joint pain. Hot towels can be placed on the back, the face, the neck, shoulders, and joints.
